In the cannabis plant, there are over 100 different cannabinoids or chemicals in the plant. Two of the best-studied chemicals are known as CBD and THC. But if you do decide to take CBD orally then consult your doctor to make sure there are not any interactions between your medications and CBD.

Dosing CBD can be a little more tricky at first but once you figure out your perfect dosage then you are set for life! Start with a small dosage of CBD and increase slowly until you reach your desired effect. Your ideal dosage of CBD depends on a lot of factors and it’s different for everyone. Your body weight, pharmacogenetics (genetic makeup of your response to a drug or chemical), the condition you’re treating, and the concentration of CBD in the product you’re using. We highly recommend you also keep a journal to write down how much CBD you took, in what form, with or without food, and how you felt before and after.

My dad has arthritis and my mom broke her ankle back in 2005. For some reason she didn’t recover fully from the injury.
